Dearest loyal readers,

My apologies as you are probably wondering what happened to your beloved Daily Stroll. Well, to be perfectly honest on August 3rd, the decision was made that the daily newsletter format was no longer fun for me anymore. Believe it or not there is a lot of pressure and sometimes hassle in writing about what I think people should buy. Especially when economic times are tough.

It has always been hard to balance my career and my family, and this fall with Ruby starting kindergarten, Elkë starting nursery school, and the news of our third baby on the way, something had to give. Unfortunately in the interest of making a living and not ignoring my children, that something is this.

Oh did you hear? We are expecting our third baby this coming March! This although exciting, has come with its own bit of scary times. During August I started having complications and was hospitalized. The baby is okay for now and these developments have led me to a new project and blog which I hope that you will join in reading. I promise, it's going to be juicy. I have been ordered to "modified bed rest" due to my placenta having an accessory. An accessory? Yes, that is what they are calling it. Bed rest, modified or not is super interesting when you have two kids under age 5, and a full time career. But if anyone can do it I can and I will. Plus, the more readers that I have at my new blog where I get to do what I love (write for fun, not under pressure) the better I will feel. I rely on you to pull me through.
