Get On Track
I
have said it before and I will say it again, the hardest and most rewarding job
is being a mom. Too bad on top of that many of us still have to work an
additional job. Maybe it's not too bad for you, maybe you enjoy this but let's
be honest, you aren't superwoman.
I know that I enjoy running 3 companies, raising 1 two year old and
making sure that my 1 two year old is not eating cat hair off of the floor, but
at the end of the day with all of the success and love, I can feel scattered,
alone and needing to connect with others who "get" me.
I have a wonderful husband (and any of you who don't want to listen to the
obvious men/father bashing that is going to take place, please cover your eyes),
but because I work from home I honestly believe that there is a vision in his
head that my "work" is really a lot of coloring and cuddling. At times I
actually have to hire someone else to do the color/cuddle combination so that I
can get through a working/earning money day and put organic milk in the fridge
and fancy dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets on the table.
Because I know that I am not alone in this, I want to tell you about a new
website dedicated to moms like us who both thrive on and detest chaos. It's a
nice combination, if you are a new mom you will get used to it.
Meet: MommyTrack'd. At
Mommy Track'd you are encouraged to get on track with tips from real working
moms, articles, message boards, and a fun and functional selection of notepads
to help the smart working mother get through her week. Settle in with a cup of
coffee, or organic milk that you worked so hard to put on the table at
$3.99/gallon because you are convinced that it's better, and get to know a few
mommies like yourself, who rule.
Daily Stroll readers get 10% off of any orders in the Mommy Track'd Shop. Use
code: STROLL10 at checkout. Offer expires 6.30.06.
HAPPY
MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF OUR DAILY STROLL READERS!
