I am very much about toys that are classic, and when put away look like decoration or blend in with my overall style. Call me superficial but I call it functional. I embrace the fact that I have two children under the age of 5 and choose to surround us all with interesting however useable stuff. Recently a friend showed me the work of MummySam a designer who works with 100% wool felt, natural fibers, lambs wool stuffing, and cotton (all from East Coast Farmers). Once I heard about her work and saw it in person I had to look her up immediately. Then it happened. LOVE. Yearning and wishing followed, and all because of a little red phone booth. Talk about surrounding your children with toys that you don't mind them leaving out! Your classic doll house isn't complete without a London red telephone booth outside on the make-shift street corner. Hop the pond for a moment in time. Handmade with free motion stitching and hand embroidery, each one is classic and made with care like the rest of her collection.
